Preston Stinson is a husband, father, small business owner, and tested conservative leader who believes government should work as hard as the people it represents.
Raised in Edmond and educated at UCO and Oklahoma Christian, Preston built and operated multiple Oklahoma-based businesses before serving in the State House. He knows what it means to meet payroll, manage risk, and balance a budget — because he’s done it.
That real-world experience shapes how he governs.
Preston has delivered tax relief, pushed back on reckless spending, enforced immigration law, and backed law enforcement without hesitation. He believes schools should focus on reading and results — not politics — and that parents, not bureaucrats, should have the final say.
His commitment to fighting for Oklahoma was tested in the most personal way when he battled pancreatic cancer while his young son recovered from a liver transplant. Through it all, Preston continued working, continued legislating, and continued delivering.
Because quitting isn’t in his nature.
Preston and his wife, Sheila, are raising their two sons in Edmond and remain deeply rooted in the community they serve.
